Snowfall in my Side of the World!
In the hush of snowfall, I find my delight,
As memories of childhood come into sight,
In the gentle cascade, we frolic and play,
With siblings and friends, in the white array.
Miles from home, in the icy embrace,
We journey to school, laughter in the chase,
Faces rosy, hands tingling in the frost,
For warmth, for joy, for moments not lost.
Beneath the gray skies, a mother's care,
Potatoes boiling, black chana's warmth to share,
Against the winter's chill, a comforting glow,
In the heart of the storm, a haven we know.
Amidst the flurry, in nature's soft grace,
In search of food, in a winter's embrace,
We find resilience in each snowflake's dance,
In the midst of it all, we find our stance.
For in the whisper of snowflakes, we find,
Echoes of childhood, in every line,
A journey through time, in our hearts entwined,
In the warmth of love, forever aligned.
